Your journey begins as you leave Santiago behind and head north toward the otherworldly beauty of the Atacama Desert. After a two-hour flight to Calama. (Please note: airfare not included).

San Pedro de Atacama: Take a deep breath in

As the afternoon light begins to shift, you’ll head out with your LolaRoute Expert to one of the most iconic landscapes in Chile: the surreal Valle de la Luna. Just a short drive from town, this lunar-like terrain stirs the imagination with its wind-carved formations, salt caverns, and towering dunes. After a two-hour scenic drive, arrive at the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field alive with rising steam and bubbling waters in the early morning light. At 14,173 feet, it’s one of the highest geyser fields in the world—an awe-inspiring place to greet the day.
As the air warms and the mist begins to fade, soak in the quiet grandeur of the Andes before returning to town.
